Our Code of Conduct
At AnacondaCON 2018, we want to ensure that everyone has a positive and productive experience, so we ask all participants to treat one another with respect. We expect an environment free from any type of threatening or harassing behavior, direct or implied. This includes your interactions with one another during the conference and off-site functions, as well as your electronic interactions.
Anaconda, Inc. does not condone harassment or offensive behavior at any of our conferences or events. We invite you to help us ensure that every Anaconda-hosted event is a welcoming, respectful, and inviting place for all participants, no matter their race, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, national origin, ethnicity, or religion.
Examples of harassment include:
- offensive comments
- verbal threats or demands
- sexualized images in public spaces
- harassing photography or recording
- sustained disruption of sessions or events
- unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention
Harassment also includes slights and negative messages, both unintended and intentional, based solely on appearance.
We expect all conference participants, including attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers, to follow our Code of Conduct during the conference, including at any off-site activities and on online communities, such as social media.
Conference participants violating this Code of Conduct may be dismissed from the conference without a refund at the discretion of Anaconda, Inc.
